Ghost in the Shell is based on Masamune Shirow’s original manga of the same name. The film takes place in 2029 when Major Motoko Kusanagi is ordered to assassinate a man named Tachikoma. Instead, she infiltrates his organization and uncovers a conspiracy involving human clones.

Kill Bill is based on the popular Quentin Tarantino film of the same name. This version of the story centers around Uma Thurman’s character Beatrix Kiddo, also known as the Bride. She travels back in time to seek revenge against Vernita Green for killing her unborn daughter.
