10Medical Training
Carol begins to acquire rudimentary medical methods in Season 3 of The Walking Dead to aid the gang of survivors. Carol decides to study how to conduct a caesarean section if Lori's labour progresses to the point where it is essential. She even practises walking with a walker. These abilities will come in handy not only during Lori's pregnancy, but throughout the apocalypse.
9Teaching Defense
One of her better actions was to train the youngsters at the prison to defend themselves, fight back against enemies, and kill walkers, despite the council's intentions. Under the guise of storytime, she performed these training sessions deftly. She was far ahead of the other adults in her understanding of how youngsters will be protected by defending themselves.
8Ending Lizzie
Carol has also made numerous poor choices that have harmed not only herself but also other survivors. She did, however, make the tough but correct decision to put an end to the kid who had slain her own sister, and she had planned to turn her knife on baby Judith next.
From the beginning, when she was shown sympathising with and humanising walkers, there was always something unsettling about Lizzie. While the situation was tragic in every way, Carol appeared to have nothing else she could do.
7Not Giving Up On Daryl
While Daryl is now one of the most popular characters on the show, he wasn't always so. He was typically detached from the gang in previous seasons, and most of them were prepared to let him do whatever he pleased.
Carol never gave up on him, even after he made derogatory remarks about her and her daughter's death. Her unwavering commitment to demonstrating her concern for him led to her becoming one of Daryl's closest friends.
6Her Weakness Act
Carol was a fearful woman who trembled beneath her evil husband's shadow at the start of the series. Carol takes a long time to recover her inner power, even after Ed has died. She clings to her previous identity in the most strategic way possible, portraying meekness in the face of opponents so they don't see her as a threat. When she and Maggie are kidnapped by Saviors, she employs this strategy until the right time comes.

5Her Wolves Disguise
Carol disguised herself as a wolf to fool the Wolves into thinking she was one of their own, and she picked them off while walking freely amid the chaos without being seen. During this episode, Carol's boldness and inventiveness were on full display for the audience.
4Building A Family
Carol has changed dramatically since Season One, yet she still struggles to fully accept living with her friends and dealing with the death of those she loves.
Carol's comfort in her current condition isn't revealed to the viewers until Season Nine, when she is portrayed in a committed relationship with Ezekiel. She had one of the more surprising character journeys on the show, eventually marrying Ezekiel and having a child with him.
3Terminating Terminus
She also has a flair for rescuing people, and one of the most incredible rescues she performed was rescuing the survivors from Terminus.
Despite the fact that the gang might have gotten away with it given Rick's previous amazing feats, the gang was in a difficult situation before Carol stepped in. She storms the cannibals' camp, setting fire to a propane tank and breaking the fence, allowing a swarm of walkers to finish off the Terminus residents.
2Taking Lydia's Hand
Carol almost went over the edge of the cliff with the hoard of Whisperers' walkers, which created a moment of suspense in the audience.
Lydia, on the other hand, saved one of the final Season One survivors by reaching out before she went over the edge. Carol fights back for a brief moment, but she's tough enough to have broken free. Instead, she decides to accept the assistance and continue on her adventure.
1Changing
The audience has a hard time rooting for Carol Peletier in the first couple of seasons since she never fights back against what is happening to her.
Everything that happened later in the series was due to Carol eventually conquering her past and choosing to survive by learning to take care of herself and deciding what was truly important to her. She would not have become one of the longest living survivors if she had decided to remain one of the individuals who always needed to be saved.
