The Walking Dead by Telltale has come to a conclusion, but the terrible decisions we made remain with us. The RPG demonstrated that the zombie apocalypse pushes you to make the most difficult decisions that could spell the difference between life and death for you and others.
We've compiled a list of the ten most challenging game options. These are the kinds of decisions that have caused some players to quit the game out of frustration or to replay an entire episode merely to modify one decision. There are also significant spoilers ahead!
1. Let AJ Shoot Lilly Or Not?
It's a decision from the last season. In the sense that Clementine is now parenting a child, the entire last season is comparable to the first. However, AJ has grown up in the post-apocalyptic world, and some of the decisions you make for him may jeopardise his humanity.
You must choose between allowing him to shoot the primary villain, Lilly, and listening to James and teaching him mercy. If you allow AJ to shoot Lilly, James will despise you and attempt to kidnap AJ. Lilly murders James if you teach AJ mercy.
2. Save David Or Richmond?
Because you didn't play as Clementine or Lee in the third season, it was the least popular, but it had its share of difficult decisions to make. It was a choice between following down your brother and his son or protecting a village. They will die if you do not pursue your brother and his son.
What's interesting is that, based on her previous choices, Clementine makes her own decision. It was an example of Telltale's character Clementine developing in terms of long-term implications.
3. Steal From Car Or Not?
The choice is whether or not to steal supplies from a car at the end of the second episode of the first season. It's open and brimming with food and medication. Where, on the other hand, there were no people?
The crew will steal from the car no matter what you do. You simply have the option of participating or not. At the conclusion, there is a twist that reveals that stealing from this car was a terrible idea.
4. Save Duck Or Shawn
In the first season, you have the option of saving either Kenny's child, Duck, or Hershal's son, Shawn, at Hershal's farm. Duck's tractor ran over Shawn, further complicating the situation. So he is to blame for the predicament, but he is also a small child. Whichever option you select, one of the fathers will be dissatisfied.
Shawn is going to die no matter what. After all, he doesn't appear in the comics or on the TV way Maggie does, so Walking Dead fans were probably expecting this.
5. Shoot Off Which Person's Foot?
This was the most difficult decision in the 400 Days DLC. According to Vincent's tale, the apocalypse begins when he is incarcerated on a prison bus. His and two other inmates' feet are tied to the floor. To get away, you must choose which one to betray and shoot his leg off. You, on the other hand, have only met these guys and have very little information about them. All you know is that one is accused of sexual assault but maintains innocence, while the other is a white collar criminal who is proud of it.
6. Help Kenny Kill Larry Or Not?
Everyone agrees that Larry is a jerk to Lee, but does that mean Larry is supporting Kenny in his plan to kill him? TellTale makes making a decision seem hard.
You've been imprisoned with Larry, who has collapsed owing to a possible health problem. Lilly, his daughter, begs you to assist her in performing CPR. Since Larry will turn into a big walker if he dies, Kenny has other options. Kenny will kill Larry no matter what. Your decision has the most impact on whether Kenny or Lilly are angry with you.
