Netflix Shows To Binge On

The most enjoyable shows on Netflix are Netflix’s top 11 shows. These TV series have been binge-watching Netflix for more than a month now and are worth every minute. Below is the list of Netflix Top 11 to watch right now.

Top Netflix Shows To Binge:

1) Narcos, Mexico :

Narcos, Mexico has been watched in almost everything you can imagine. This Spanish drama that follows the lives, crimes, corruption, crime rings, and many other things happens in this region all at once, with no warning. It has also been rated R-13 on adult themes. I recommend it as the perfect addition to your bucket list.

2) The Queen’s Gambit, Canada :

If there was one show to binge-watch while traveling abroad, it would be The Queen’s Gambit. An amazing show with some amazing ideas but still, very good. If you’re looking to get into chess, check it out. A great game for adults and children alike.

3) Emily In Paris, France :

Emily In Paris takes place of five years and 15 days after the death of their parents. They meet each other in New York City and decide to spend Christmas together. Emily In Paris had become popular when it was first announced, so by March 2015 they were already well known, which made this French comedy incredibly funny even if not very original. And it’s also one of my favorite movies ever, so I think that it must be fairly high up on this list too!

4) Vikings, Norway :

Vikings is about an Icelandic fisherman named Erik Erikson who, upon discovering that his ancestors were responsible for making kraken, decides to go public with his story and take over Iceland’s fishing business for himself. He convinces villagers to help him catch fish illegally which results in locals being thrown out of the water, and the town gets upset because he took their jobs. Then, along comes Anne Marie who wants revenge against her father. She buys a boat and goes off to sea to fight for her family which leads to her having her father killed while she is away. Now, she becomes the only survivor of the attack and survives with nothing. Her fate turns out to be in vain and she ends up trying to sell her island in Europe, where she is met with extreme hostility. But then…what? Finally, in what seems like another twist of fate…her son comes back from America and kills both the thieves who put him in prison and her father. All he needs is money and the love of Anne Marie’s son. So, yeah, it all fits together perfectly.

5) Black Mirror: Afterlife :

Black mirror is about police officers who experience something similar to reality but don’t care, they keep killing people as quickly as possible. That includes Laura Fraser’s daughter Alex, who falls down a rabbit hole and ends up being shot dead. It is very sad, dark, and thought-provoking at the same time about how we keep getting more and more obsessed with technology.

6) Wanderlust, United Kingdom :

Wanderlust focuses on three friends who fall for two different stories and find themselves in quite a predicament. Most of the time, the main character or person behind the story changes, meaning that sometimes you change with them during episodes. Which means that all three friends end up changing. The world keeps turning when those friends become characters/people who everyone loves and others like. One thing that sticks out is that all of these characters are basically human beings. Their experiences, problems, and feelings are the same as you. Sometimes it may seem like an impossible task, but it is worth it.

7) Criminal Minds, USA :

Criminal minds is a psychological thriller that is based on true events. Its protagonists are criminals from different parts of the country and the reason behind their criminal activities is the lack of parental guidance and control. But they will eventually escape justice by using mental illness and insanity to commit suicide. There is a lot of drama and tension in this show, which makes me really enjoy watching it a lot.

8) Stranger Things :

A group of teens make their way home to Maine’s small hometown after surviving a plane crash when another teenager named Max escapes. When they return home, they suddenly discover that Max is gone, leaving them very confused. What makes this such an interesting show is that the audience can relate to the character or characters, and the viewers are able to see the struggles in these kids’ lives.

My favorite part is when Sam sees someone’s life change completely after he went missing and he starts to lose his job. After they make a deal with Max to get him back, they realize that they never know exactly why Max disappeared and what happened to him before coming home.

9) House, Japan :

House takes place in Tokyo, Japan when four young men, mostly university students, start building a house. Everything is going fine until one day, an earthquake hits their hotel where they are staying. While under the earth, they learn about the supernatural and try to explain why the earthquake occurred. Because of the fact that the house has always been haunted by a ghostly figure but nobody knew why it was happening, they decided to investigate. Eventually, they manage to solve their mystery and make the conclusion that it is actually ghosts that haunt the property.

But when a spirit of a previous owner emerges, a strange entity appears to the room and scares the teenagers. A girl named Alice falls victim to the spirit and loses her childhood. She soon learns that the new owners used her body as sacrifice for their own enjoyment. She then meets Kiyo, the former owner who is a serial killer, and she decides to kill her only parent, Yuki who is married to her husband.

At the moment, Yuki and the boys start hiding all the evidence. Once they finally catch up with the gang, they decide to burn their bodies and escape to California. Things begin to get worse when Yuki dies and Alice becomes unconscious and suffers from hallucinations. Meanwhile, they try to recover with the help of the National Parks Service, who sends them to live on a remote island where they start falling prey to creepy apparitions.

Unfortunately, things for them turn out much worse as they get caught in the supernatural forces and start losing people. As everyone else tries to die, Alice disappears and returns with two boys. With nowhere to run, they choose to stay for the rest of Christmas and finish Season 2 before they leave the island, ending the second season on Halloween.

10) V, Spain :

The fourth instalment of American Horror Story is about a woman who meets her demise with her ex-husband only telling her stories and lies. But the truth is that she was murdered by her ex-husband and his lover who had been controlling her and manipulating her, causing her to murder herself and become his mistress.

When she tells no one what happened, she becomes angry and kills herself in front of the whole town. However, she finds it difficult to come to terms with the fact that she was killed by her ex-husband because he left her forever and she doesn’t want anything to do with anyone for making him rich again. For a long time, she couldn’t believe that she was still alive and living without knowing who killed her that time. Slowly, she starts feeling better by thinking that maybe she is just dreaming, but everything soon changes when she sees her deceased mother and thinks of ways that she could kill her.

However, her plan fails since the afterlife tells her that she shouldn’t commit any sins and she should be with her parents. Afterward, she realizes that she can’t go through life alone and is stuck between her parents for the rest of eternity like everyone else. As she is beginning to think of death, something bizarre happens to her that ultimately causes her to become more depressed and she breaks into self-harm and depression.

11) You Have No Idea, South Korean Drama :

You’ve probably heard the saying “You’ve never got to see the whole picture.” South Korean drama is a modernized version of The Notebook where seven people from diverse backgrounds and social classes are involved. It focuses on a man whose wife divorced him for sexual harassment. The seven then try to reconnect with him by visiting him at a park and talking with a girl who they believe is the last remaining chance of reconciliation.

At first, he rejects their requests for a meeting but later accepts their invitations as the series progresses. Throughout the series, the viewer learns that he isn’t who he claims to be, his past and his past mistakes show him to be an unreliable narrator. Even though he says that he loves his wife, she does not reciprocate and, ultimately, they split. Soon after the divorce, he runs away from home and, surprisingly, it isn’t until a car accident that they reunite.
